Remember reading this classic in high school? On the way of our seemingly endless journey to high school graduation, most of us had to read Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird and nearly all, readers and non-readers alike, were fascinated with and entranced by the book.
In celebration of 50 years of success since the publication of the novel, BookPeople is hosting a 50th Anniversary party for the novel. This upcoming Sunday (July 11) several Austin literary minds will come together to read various passages from To Kill A Mockingbird and talk about what the book has meant to them. The event is FREE, so all you have to do is show up at 7 p.m. sharp and enjoy!
