Gulf Coast Writers Association is Calling for Short Fiction Submissions!

Even though the 2010 Conference is behind us, there are still plenty of opportunities to get your work out there and seen by many! The Gulf Coast Writers Association is offering such an opportunity with their call for submissions for their third print anthology of short fiction. The major stipulation for submissions is that they must be set in the South and must capture a Southern tone. Here are the rest of the guidelines and information for the publication:

Submission Deadline: September 1, 2010
Entry Fee: $0 (Only 2 entries allowed though!)
Prize for publication: $25
Length: 3,000 words or less
Form: 12 pt. Times New Roman Script, double spaced, saved as .doc or .docx
Other: Must include a brief cover letter (no author bio included) and word count on first page.
*No pornography, erotica, graphic violence/horror, excessive profanity, or anything racial or biased toward any religious or moral preference
