Scribe:  In what genre(s) do you write?
Dianna Hunter: I usually write in either the Fantasy or Urban Fantasy genres. There is so much room to expand on situations and characters.
Scribe: What authors would you like to have coffee or a beer with and which beverage?
DH: I have got to say that my favorite author has been Karen Marie Moning. I love her Fever series. I would also enjoy meeting Kim Harrison. She sounds like a “kick in the pants” sort of person.
Scribe:  If you were stranded on a deserted island, what book would you want to have with you to keep you sane?
DH: I am not sure that I could choose just one. How could any one book fulfill so many possible needs?
Scribe: What have you learned from your association with the Writers’ League?
DH: That there are a lot of writers, both beginners and old pros out there.
Scribe: Where do you see your writing taking you (or you taking it) in the future?
DH: I am deep into my new series, Dancing in the Rain with the release of the first three books. I hope it will continue to be popular so that I can take my readers on a journey through the chain of worlds with Dana and in the near future, her granddaughter, Grace.
Scribe: Is there anything else about you that you would like to share with the world? An opportunity for blatant self-promotion!
DH: I love to read and enjoy getting feedback on the stories I am putting out there. Much of the pleasure I get from writing these stories is knowing that other people are also enjoying getting to know the characters and worlds I am creating as much as I am. There is always something new around the next bend in our path to surprise me as well as the readers.
