After 34 books Jodi Thomas, often called the Queen of Texas Romance, has crossed into mainstream with a bang. The first in a seven book series contracted with Putnam/Berkley won the top award, a RITA, given in women’s fiction. WELCOME TO HARMONY was named Best Mainstream Novel with Romantic Elements. At the RWA conference in New York, Jodi also won the Booksellers Best award for 2011 for the second in the Harmony series, SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY.
