Send Your Stories to American Short Fiction- Now!

American Short Fiction is a nationally distributed literary magazine based in Austin. They publish innovative new work from a diverse group of emerging and established writers, featuring stories in print and online. The American Short(er) Fiction Prize highlights great work in shorter fiction—stories of 1,000 words or less, to be exact. First prize receives $500 and publication; second prize receives $250 and publication. Carol Dawson’s Gallery Talk- Art and Writing Together!

The Writers’ League of Texas, The Texas Institute of Letters, and Wally Workman Gallery Present: My Paper Worlds, a gallery talk with Carol Dawson, Author and Visual Artist. Concerning the long tradition of practicing two creative disciplines, their points of convergence, and their effects on one another. Question and Answer Session to follow.
