This upcoming Wednesday Badgerdog Literary Publishing is hosting “Evening in Andalusia” with Sarah Bird, a Spanish-themed night featuring tapas, sangria, a silent auction, flamenco dancing, and singing.

Emcee Dr. Thomas F. Staley, Director of the Harry Ransom Center, will be hosting a night that celebrates the journeys taken through literature and the power of the written language to transport our senses. The night will begin with a reading by a young reader who’s been featured in their student publication, then move to a reading from an emerging author who’s been published in their literary journal, and will culminate with a reading by Sarah Bird, author of Flamenco Academy.

Join Badgerdog Literary Publishing, the only literary nonprofit in Central Texas that combines rigorous Language Arts instruction and publishing opportunities for at-risk youth with a nationally distributed quarterly publication for emerging and established writers, for this exotic and fun-filled night!
