Registration Deadline for “What’s a BlogRoll, and Can I Get a Side of Readers with It?” with Nettie Hartsock is Approaching!

The deadline for the Writers’ League of Texas’s class “What’s a BlogRoll, and Can I Get a Side of Readers with It?” with Nettie Hartsock is this Wednesday, April 7, 2 p.m.

This class is for people who already understand the basics of blogging but are concerned that their blog is not as visible as they would like it to be in the leading blogosphere. We are going to provide actionable strategies for you to create link-love through your blog roll and your posts as well as getting your blog visible to online press and journalists.

We will discuss in detail the types of blog links you want to have on your blogroll and why it’s important to give your blog a good blog-roll scrubbing at least every six months.

We’ll also talk about some good strategies for engaging comments on your blog and encouraging guest blogging/bylined articles to your blog and how that increases your overall leadership platform. We’ll also briefly cover how to use Twitter in tandem with your blog posts for content repurposing.

The one requirement for this class is that you have to be familiar with blogs and how they work. This is not a beginner class on social media, blogging or Web 2.0.

Cost: $49 members/ $109 nonmembers
